About You
You are an experienced cybersecurity professional that can serve as a risk management advisor
to the customer. You have a high standard of excellence and can converse effectively with
technical and non-technical audience, business process owners, and executives.
Essential Responsibilities
- Complete consulting services as assigned, following the customer SOW, customer policies, and internal work processes. These include but are not limited to policy and procedure development, risk analysis, risk remediation plans, cybersecurity assessments, development of strategic and operational plans, and other advisory services.
- Provide risk management methodologies, industry best practices, and lead managed services engagements independently completing assigned responsibilities.
- Execute customer SOW planning and preparation and deliver training and awareness materials to encourage implementation of risk reduction measures.
- Facilitate executive-level engagements such as value assessment and realization to customers and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Provide pre-sales support in assessing customer needs, SOW scoping, and estimating the level of effort for consulting and managed service engagements.
- Pursue professional development to stay current on best practices, technical skills, and tools as necessary for the position’s duties.
- This role acts as a leadership and technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, and partners. Strong service-mindset is required.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of related work experience. Served in a leadership role in a cybersecurity program for healthcare system (or hospital).
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, HTM/CE, or related.
- Experience performing NIST-based risk analyses and cybersecurity risk measures implementation.
- Deep knowledge of IT and cybersecurity processes, risk management implementations will be a benefit.
- Self-starter who can work independently, seek out and leverage internal resources when needed, proactively take ownership of their work, and drive customer engagements.
- Ability to understand SOWs, customer proposals, deliverables, and demonstrated ability to collaborate internally and externally.
